The quarter is winding down and projects are coming due. Many students have multiple page papers and presentations to put together and are dreading it (I know, I was in that group). But the more of these projects I've done, the more confidence I have that the skills I'm learning will translate to a work skill. I appreciate the skills that I've had to learn from these papers and projects. Public speaking is one of the scariest events a person goes through, even scarier than drowning. But, when you are in a career, you are more than likely going to have to give a presentation, work in a team, and prepare a report. Doesn't that make you appreciate the chance to practice and hone these skills in a class room and receive feedback instead of in front of your supervisor?
